I was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 5, 1963. I graduated from Michigan State in 1986, where I met Bren Hartman. We married on December 28, 1985 during Christmas break.  We have two sons ages 20 and 23, and a daughter-in-law.  We are empty nesters and love it.  Bren and I enjoy spending time together, running the sand dunes with our VW sand rail, and drag racing. I enjoy reading and digging into the Word of God, but still watch an occasional movie or two.

I was raised Catholic, but strayed away from the church.  I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 26 and have continued to draw closer to Him day by day.  Having learned the Theophostic prayer process, I now allow the Lord to work through me to bring truth to others like he brought truth to me. The Lord brought me to AFR in June of 2009.  I love what I do here at A Forever Recovery. I love to see God’s hand at work all around me.
